BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Verizon Wireless customers, watch out - your bill is about to get bigger. The increase appears to be part of what many companies are doing to fight the inflation pressures that they feel.

The company says that the administrative charges for each voice line will go up $1.35. That puts the full price of the administrative fee at $3.13. The company says the administrative charge for data lines will remain unchanged. The increase takes effect in June.

On top of that, Verizon Business data plans are about to get more expensive. The report says the cost of those data plans will go up $2.20 and the cost of basic service plans will go up 98 cents.

The price hike comes weeks after AT&T made the same move. The move was first reported by Bloomberg.

“We’re all feeling the pressure and we’ve been in the process of deciding how much of that pressure we can share with our clients,” said Tami Erwin, the Executive Vice President and CEO of Verizon Business, in a recent interview.
