Caddo-Bossier Port, stores opening and closing make headlines this week

Well hello Shreveport, it has been a slow week in business. But, don't fret we still have some news out of the Shreveport-Bossier area. Here's what you need to know: new tenant broke ground at The Port and one Bossier City store is closing its doors while another opens. 

Sand company breaks ground at Caddo-Bossier Port

The Port of Caddo-Bossier welcomed a new tenant: Sunny Point Aggregates, Wednesday. This will be the company's third location in the Ark-La-Tex.

Sunny Point Aggregates will be building a new sand and proppants processing facility at The Port.

When this facility is completed it will occupy a 43-acre tract of riverfront property in an area known as Scopini Island, located in Bossier Parish.

Tuesday Morning in Bossier City is closing

Tuesday Morning at 2001 Airline Drive is permanently closing on June 5.

All store merchandise will be 20% off and the store is open Monday-Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Crumbl in Bossier City finally opened their doors on Friday

Crumbl in Bossier opened their doors Friday

With a line out the door, Crumbl Cookies made its debut in Bossier City on Friday, May 13. 

Customers said they waited in over 90 degree weather for more than 40 minutes but were anxious to receive the pink box. 

The store located at 2650 Airline Drive will be open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to midnight. Crumbl will be closed on Sunday.
