The shooting happened at Yamacraw Village on Friday, May 6.

Officers said when they arrived at the scene they found a teenager suffering from gunshot wounds.

Savannah Police Chief Roy Minter said they have received information but they believe more information is out there, that can further assist with the investigation.

"We have not received the level of tips and information we have anticipated for this investigation. So, in response to that this morning, we are announcing an additional $5,000 reward for information leading to the suspect or suspects involved in this incident. That’s in addition, over and above what Crime Stoppers is offering which is usually about 25 hundred dollars," said Minter.
