Additional COVID-19-related death reported in Kanawha County

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — Health officials said an additional COVID-19-related death has been reported in Kanawha County.

The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department confirmed the death on Tuesday of a 65-year-old man who was vaccinated and had received his booster.

Kanawha County’s pandemic death total is now at 654.

Active cases were at 242, down 32. Recoveries were up 76.

Health officials said 45 new cases were reported on Tuesday.
