75-Year-Old Man Dies in Pedestrian Accident on 41st Place

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 16, 2022) – On Wednesday, a hit-and-run crash on Trinity Street left 75-year-old Hector Castro Hirales killed.

According to the police, the crash happened around 9:15 p.m. when a silver compact SUV turned left into Trinity Street from West 41st Place.

The SUV collided with a pedestrian, identified as Hector Castro Hirales, in the area for reasons unknown. However, the SUV driver immediately fled the scene before the authorities arrived.

Eventually, the Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported 75-year-old Hirales to a hospital where he died from injuries.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the hit-and-run crash to contact the police at 213-833-3713. An active investigation is currently underway.
