The Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested the teen in nearby Port Wentworth Monday

Savannah Police have made an arrest in the deadly shooting of a 17-year-old in February.Officers were called on the afternoon of February 28 to the 400 block of McKenzie Place where they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.The victim, George Williamson, later died of his injuries.On Tuesday, SPD announced an arrest in the case.Jamil Romar Singleton was arrested on a murder warrant by the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.He was located Monday in Port Wentworth.Singleton is being held at the Chatham County Detention Center.Police have not released a motive for the shooting.
