WILMINGTON, DE β€” Delaware will soon become the only U.S. state without commercial airline service after Frontier Airlines announced last week it will end flights to and from the state, according to a report by Insider.

A Frontier Airlines spokesperson confirmed to Insider that the company will end flights between Orlando, Florida, and New Castle Airport on June 6. The company told Insider that "sufficient demand did not materialize to support the service."

After June 6, Delaware travelers will have to drive to airports like Philadelphia or Baltimore in order to catch a flight.
