Suspect arrested in connection to fatal shooting of 17-year-old in Savannah

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTGS) — A suspect has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old in Savannah in February.

The Savannah Police Department said Jamil Romar Singleton, 19, was arrested on a murder warrant.

George Williamson was found in the 400 block of McKenzie Place on February 28, police said.

The Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force located Singleton May 16 in Port Wentworth.

He has been booked into the Chatham County jail.
