The Iowa state auditor is investigating the former city clerk of Silver City after an audit found nearly $68,000 in city money missing.The auditor's report released Tuesday found some of that money included $42,000 in personal purchases made with a city credit card.The report shows nearly $11,000 in unauthorized payroll issued to city clerk Artema Gray.It also shows $545 used to pay Gray's personal CenturyLink bills.More news:

The Iowa state auditor is investigating the former city clerk of Silver City after an audit found nearly $68,000 in city money missing.
