Nomoo was launched by founder, George Montagu-Brown, a plant-based food advocate, chef and United Kingdom restaurateur who "wanted to revolutionize America’s favorite food (burgers) from the inside out," according to the company.

In Nomoo's plant-based test kitchen, Montagu-Brown and crew recreated meat and dairy-based favorites.
