People who live in the area say cars would routinely speed around the bend, which was a hazard to people trying to turn left onto Gaymar.Orange County promised to study the intersection and they did, finally deciding to put up the light. They turned it on about two weeks ago.The goal is to slow down traffic and protect drivers trying to make the turn.The county says it took measures to speed up the process, getting the light installed a year quicker than normal.
