Jesse Ford (CREDIT: Lee County Sheriff’s Office) A 30-year-old Cape Coral man has been arrested for alleged involvement in a hit-and-run crash that left one person dead last October. Jesse Ford was arrested on Tuesday by the U.S. Marshals Regional Task Force, according to the Fort Myers Police Department. He faces charges of hit-and-run involving death and evidence-destroying in connection to the fatal crash. Police said he is responsible for the Oct. 9, 2021 crash that killed Michael Radunacu. It happens in the area of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Hendry St. in Fort Myers. The suspect’s vehicle fled from the scene. Ford remains in Lee County Jail.
