TOMORROW MORNING AT 7:30. DO YOU RECOGNIZE THIS TRUCK THAT DES MOINES POLICE SAY SOMEBODY STOLE IT IN THE TRAILER THAT WAS ATTACHED TO IT FROM THE DOWNTOWN FARMERS. TRAILER CONTAINED FARMERS MARKET SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT USED TO MAINTAIN PARKS AND TRAILS. THE LICSE PLATE NUMBER IS 119778 IF YOU SEE IT.

Des Moines police say thieves stole a truck from the city of Des Moines and then a trailer from the Downtown Farmers Market.The incident happened on May 11 in the 1200 block Thomas Beck Road. The truck, described as a white 2012 Ford F-250, belongs to the city of Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department.Police said, on May 13, the stolen truck was used to steal an enclosed trailer from the 500 block of Cherry Street that contained property owned by the Des Moines Farmers Market.The trailer contained farmers market supplies and equipment used to maintain parks and trails.Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Becirovic at 515-237-1495.
