Gov. John Carney tests positive for COVID-19 after feeling mild symptoms

Gov. John Carney announced on Monday night that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

The governor tested positive through an at-home antigen test after feeling "mild symptoms," according to the announcement. He is vaccinated and double boosted.

“I am feeling well and will continue to work remotely, but unfortunately will have to miss a few in-person events,” Carney said in a statement. “I will continue to follow the CDC guidelines following my positive result.”
