People packed the streets of Valley Junction for an arts festival on Sunday.There were plenty of family-fun activities from break-dancing to pottery-making. Local artists sold and displayed all types of art and crafts. The day also included food and drink vendors - and live music."It's great weather — it's not raining, it's not sunny. It's perfect to be able to view the art and nice to see all the diversity of styles, and I particularly like the pottery," said West Des Moines resident Doreen Chamberlin.The event included more than 50 artists and performances by Cirque Wonderland Studios and Des Moines Breakerz LLC.More headlines:
