Record Number of Food Trucks Coming to NYS Fairgrounds for 2022 Food Truck Battle

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — If the warm weather has you in the mood for some food truck food, the New York State Fairgrounds is the place for you this weekend!

This Saturday, May 14, more than 50 Food Trucks will be taking over the Fairgrounds for the 2022 Food Truck Battle.

Nick Sanford, President of the Syracuse Food Truck Association, says Saturday's Food Truck Battle will be the largest gathering of food trucks in CNY history with locally owned food trucks from Syracuse, Rochester, Ithaca, Watertown, and beyond, plus craft beer, craft vendors, a kid zone, live local music and low-cost food samples.

"You can go and spend and find something for everyone," he says.

Bold Coast Lobster Co. is one of the food trucks taking part in this Saturday's event. Owner Kate George says their award-winning lobster rolls come right from the source.

"We get all of our Seafood Fresh from Maine," she says.

Tickets are $5 pre-sale and $10 the week of the event. Kids under 12 are FREE and do not require a ticket.

Free parking will be available in the brown lot, and the entrance is through the main gate.

Proceeds from all ticket sales benefit will benefit three local charities.
