SIOUX CENTER—A 38-year-old Sioux Center man was arrested about 1:40 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, on a charge of interference with official acts.
The arrest of David James Svoboda stemmed from investigation of a domestic assault complaint at his residence at 427 12th Ave. Circle NE, according to the Sioux Center Police Department.
Svoboda became uncooperative and refused to follow orders given by officers, according to the incident report.
He was told to stop multiple times while he was walking into the kitchen where it is commonly known to store knives and finally had to be taken to the ground, where Svoboda continued to resist until he was placed in handcuffs.
