GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A police investigation closed down a section of road in Greensboro.

Friendway Road at Friendway Circle was closed due to an ongoing investigation, according to police.

Greensboro police have confirmed the Friendway investigation is connected to the homicide at the 600 block of College Road.

It has neighbors and nearby business owners concerned with seeing police twice in a matter of days.

“I was just driving out of work, and all I saw was a bunch of cops, just a bunch of cop cars. It looked crazy,” said Shine Surja, sushi manager at Black Ginger Sushi Bar and Asian Fusion. “Pretty worrisome, coming out of work, with customers coming in and out, it’s just pretty dangerous, and I don’t want anyone getting hurt.”
