Pedestrian hit, killed while crossing street in NE Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car Wednesday night while crossing Northeast Marine Drive, officials said.

Portland Police Bureau’s Major Crash Team responded to the report around 6 p.m.

According to authorities, the driver who hit the pedestrian stayed at the scene and cooperated.

The victim’s identity has not been released at this time.
