Editor’s note: Police said Wednesday afternoon that at-risk missing person German Ruelas Aguilar was found unharmed in Long Beach.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 60-year-old man with medical conditions who was last seen riding a motorized wheelchair near the Washington neighborhood in Long Beach Tuesday morning.

German Ruelas Aguilar, an Inglewood resident, was in the area for a hospital appointment before he went missing, according to the Long Beach Police Department. He was last seen at 9 a.m. at the 1500 block of Long Beach Boulevard, near 15th Street.

Ruelas Aguilar suffers from medical conditions and may easily become disoriented, police said. He is described as a man standing 5 foot, 9 inches tall, weighing 356 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white hospital gown with a blue design, police said.
