A 17-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Sunday evening in Albany Park on North Side.

The teen was near an alley in the 5000 block of North Lawndale Avenue when someone approached and opened fire about 5:20 p.m., Chicago police said.

He was struck in the stomach and transported to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition, police said.

There was no one in custody.
