Fresno Police Arrest Teenage Girl & Her Boyfriend in Connection to a Deadly Stabbing

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Fresno Police have arrested a teenage girl and her boyfriend in connection to a deadly stabbing in Northwest Fresno.

On October 12, 2021, Fresno Police got a 911 call about a person – possibly deceased – spotted by a dry canal bed near Hughes and Emerson.

Oficers found the body of 20-year-old Sergio Bonboster.

They say his his body appeared to have been there for a couple of days.

An autopsy determined Bonboster had been stabbed repeatedly – his death – considered a homicide.

Detectives say Bonboster lived with a roommate, 20-year-old Lawrence Madrid and his 17-year-old girlfriend.

They were questioned.

Detectives say they were told the pair got into an a fight with Bonboster – and the teen girl stabbed him with a knife.

The girl has been arrested for murder and booked into the Juvenile Justice Center

Madrid has been arrested as an accessory to murder and booked into the Fresno County Jail.
