Indictment: San Angelo man injured during argument after woman throws knife

A San Angelo woman has been arrested after a man had a knife thrown at him, according to court documents.

UPDATE: A woman has been indicted three months after a man was injured by a thrown knife, according to court documents released Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022.

An indictment charged Keyli Kendal Ho with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in jail and a fine not to exceed $10,000.

A court date has no been set as of 2:30 p.m. Jan. 6, according to online court records. She was released from Tom Green County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond on Dec. 24, according to jail records.

SAN ANGELO — A domestic dispute ended with an injured man and a woman arrested Wednesday, according to an arrest affidavit.

On Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, police received a report of a domestic dispute on Walnut Street. A preliminary investigation discovered a "family violence dispute" ended with a man having a cut on his stomach, records state.

The man told investigators he and a woman had been arguing, and she picked up a paring knife to "cause damage" to his property. She then threw the knife at him, according to the affidavit.

The woman told officers there was an argument, she did take the knife to damage property, then the knife was thrown at the man, records state.

Keyli Kendal Ho, 22, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She remained in Tom Green County Detention Center in lieu of a $75,000 bond as of 8:30 a.m. Friday, according to online jail records.
