BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - The Butler County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide and investigators have named a person of interest.
Deputies were called to Darrtown Road in Hanover Township at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday for a stabbing.
Detectives learned that Justin Nix and Ricky Wagers were fighting when Wagers was stabbed in the chest. According to a call to 911, Nix may have driven off in a U-haul.
Friends took Wagers to Kettering Health Hamilton where he later died.
Investigators have also recovered the knife.
Detectives say they arrested Nix at a Hamilton home after "an extensive manhunt".
Nix was also wanted for a felony drug warrant.
