W.Va. fire marshals: Man charged in fatal shooting now charged with arson

West Virginia fire marshals said a man charged in a fatal shooting has been charged with setting fire to the victim’s home.

Joshua Blake Price, 30, of Farmington has been charged with first-degree arson in connection with a Jan.12 fire that damaged the home of Tyler Poston on Victory Avenue in Grafton in Taylor County, according to a news release Friday from the state Fire Marshal’s Office.

Fire marshals said Price is also being charged with first degree murder for the death of Poston, whose body was found on June 25 along Route 119 in Taylor County with multiple gunshot wounds.

Price was arraigned on Oct. 15 on the arson charges and bond was set at $20,000. He has been held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail since his initial arrest on the murder charges.
