CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) — Charleston police are investigating after reports of shots fired early Friday morning on the West Side.
The incident apparently happened about 3 a.m. at the corner of Russell and Main streets.
Lt. Tony Hazelett with the Charleston Police Department said witnesses reported hearing two people arguing and then shots were fired.
People were seen running from the scene, and casings were found there, Hazelett said.
No victim was located after police searched the area and checked with local hospitals.
