Inspections: Indian eatery briefly closed, Caribbean restaurant still shut down

Two Palm Beach County restaurants were shut down briefly last week after failing state restaurant inspections.

Lake Worth Beach

Flavor Of India, 1516 N. Dixie Highway, Lake Worth Beach, was ordered closed after an inspection Oct. 12.

It had two high-priority, four intermediate and three basic violations.

The high-priority violations included insect activity.

The eatery made the necessary corrections and reopened the next day.

Palm Springs 

Notico, 3725 Lake Worth Road, Palm Springs, was ordered closed after an inspection Oct. 12.

It had one high-priority and three basic violations.

The high-priority violation involved insect activity.

According to the state website, the eatery has yet to reopen. Calls made to the restaurant have not been returned.
