Here's where Peoria-area teams will run their IHSA cross country regionals

Here's a look at where Peoria-area cross country runners will compete Saturday in Illinois High School Association regionals across the state. Boys and girls regionals are at the same site. Asterisk indicates individual entries only.

CLASS 1A

For Class 1A, the top seven teams and top five individuals not on an advancing team move on to sectionals, scheduled for next week. In sectionals, the top six teams and top 10 individuals not on an advancing team advance to state, scheduled for Nov. 6.

At Eureka

Where: Lower Eureka Lake, Eureka

Time: Girls race — 10 a.m.; Boys race — 11 a.m.

Area schools: Illinois Valley Central, Delavan/Hartsburg-Emden, El Paso-Gridley, Eureka, Deer Creek-Mackinaw, Fieldcrest, Peoria Christian, *Peoria Heights, Olympia, Tremont, Lowpoint-Washburn/Roanoke-Benson

At St. Bede

Where: St. Bede High School

Time: Girls race — 10 a.m.; Boys race — 11 a.m.

Galva is at the Rock Falls Regional, while Illini West and Rushville-Industry run in the Liberty Regional.

Class 2A

The top six teams and top 5 individuals not on an advancing team advance to sectionals, scheduled for next week. The top seven teams and top 10 individuals not on an advancing team advance to state, scheduled for Nov. 6.
