Police investigate after man walks into hospital with gunshot wound

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is looking into the events that led up to a man shot in Harrison Township.

Thursday evening, one man arrived at Miami Valley Hospital with a gunshot wound to the wrist, the Sheriff’s Office said in a release.

Early in the day crews were dispatched to the 1900 block of Needmore Road on the report of a shots fired call around 6:00 p.m.

When deputies arrived at the scene they found evidence of a shooting, but no suspect or victim.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said this matter remains under investigation.
