TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Residents were able to learn more about one of the casinos hoping to open in Terre Haute on Thursday night as part of a Question and Answer session held by Full House Resorts at the Idle Creek Banquet Center.
Full House is one of 4 applicants hoping to be awarded the Vigo County casino license.
One of many questions asked included, “will there will be a poker room?” Senior Vice President Alex Stolyar announced that there is a possibility, if there is demand for it.
Full House plans to build the casino on Margaret Avenue near State Road 46. Officials said if Full House is approved Indiana Gaming Commission then the company will use the old Macy’s store as a temporary casino until the permanent facility is constructed.
