Suspect in murder of Queens boy also accused of robbing, shooting at MTA worker

The Queens man accused of killing a 10-year-old boy during a parking dispute this spring was charged with attempted murder and robbery in connection with a stick up of an MTA worker months earlier.

Jovan Young, 29, allegedly ambushed the 64-year-old as he returned to his Edgemere house on January 19, taking his wallet at gunpoint, before fleeing on foot, police said.

The victim got back into his car and followed Young, who turned and fired at his car, according to the NYPD.

No injuries were reported, and Young made off with the wallet, which contained $120, cops said.

Young is behind bars without bail in connection with the June 5 shooting death of Justin Wallace at his aunt’s home in Far Rockaway.

He has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and faces 25 years to life behind bars if convicted.
