On Tuesday just after 7 p.m., police conducted a stop near 180 Troy Ave. in Crown Heights.

Police said when they approached the white Hyundai Sonata, it was parked in a no parking zone with three people inside.

Officers noticed the smell of marijuana inside the running car, and ordered the 29-year-old driver to exit the car, which he complied to.

Police said the male in the passenger seat then jumped into the driver’s seat and tried to flee, but struck two parked cars and managed to drive over the front of the NYPD vehicle.

An officer used a Taser in the midst of the melee, cops said.

According to cops, the vehicle was recovered nearby at Atlantic Avenue and Utica Avenue without the driver, but a female passenger was there.

Police are still seeking the fleeing driver as of Thursday night, but the 29-year-old man who was originally in the driver's seat, identified as Darrelle Williams, 29, was found in possession of fraudulent credit cards and a skimmer device, and was arrested.
