The Travelers Aid Society of Greater New Orleans held an event for the homeless Oct. 15 at its Gravier Street headquarters in downtown New Orleans. COVID-19 vaccines were administered, along with Medicaid/Medicare enrollments and health screenings. Employment opportunities were available, and snack bags, toiletry distribution, bus tokens and food gift cards were distributed.
