The emergency call center dispatched multiple personnel to Salmon Creek Road a half mile from 101 about 3:45 p.m. The personnel were told to look for a black and white pickup.

The occupant had reportedly called for assistance but had not responded to a call back. The first personnel on scene began performing CPR.

Please be alert in the area.

Please remember that this story is unfolding. Information is being reported as we gather it. However, some of the information coming from witnesses and initial official reports could be wrong. We will do our best to get the facts but, in the case that something is inaccurate, we will update with correct information as soon as we can.

UPDATE 5:30 p.m.: We’re learning that that CPR was performed on an individual in the area of Flicker Creek Road out Thomas Road off Salmon Creek Road. We have not yet been able to clarify if that is a second case where CPR was performed in the Salmon Creek area today or if there was some mix up which sent emergency personnel to the wrong area.

UPDATE 9 p.m.: We have verified that there were two different incidents and both of the patients involved are deceased.

Feelin for ya Kym, its harder when its in/near your neighborhood&as always your professional touch is stellar.

Heartful thoughts to all involved, including the first responders who often respond to calls involving folks they know.
