Natural Gas Line Ruptured In Pasadena Neighborhood

Residents were urged to stay away from the away as a precaution, Pasadena police said.

PASADENA, CA — A natural gas line ruptured at a Pasadena home Thursday afternoon.

The rupture occurred at a six-unit bungalow in the 600 block of South Marengo Avenue before 1:30 p.m., according to the Pasadena Fire Department. Five adults were evacuated from the area, and no injuries were reported.

Traffic was redirected from the street as a safety precaution, according to the Pasadena Police Department.
