Louisville Taco Festival returns to downtown this weekend: What to expect
The third annual Louisville Taco Festival returns to downtown this weekend.
More than 15 taco and food vendors will be set up at Fourth Street Live! Saturday and Sunday.
Vendors will be cooking up a variety of tacos plus there will be a margarita bar, churro stand, taco and hot chili pepper eating contest, live music and more.
There will be bars and beverage stations serving margaritas, tequila flights, ice-cold beer, water, soda and more.
According to organizers, all items will work on a voucher system.
There will be various voucher stations throughout the festival and all vouchers will be used as cash.
Additional vendors will be on hand to sell other food (cotton candy, cakes, desserts etc.) as well.
Multiple ATMs will be on-site, and organizers strongly encourage cash sales at voucher stations.
Tickets start at $9.99 plus fees. A general admission ticket comes with a free drink voucher.
VIP tickets start at $49.99 plus fees and include early access, four drink vouchers, five taco vouchers and a gift bag.
