Seven arrested, fifteen indicted in drug investigation

The San Angelo Police Department, along with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the San Antonio Division Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA,) conducted a multi-year/agency investigation into a multitude of suspects for Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine <<>500g.

A total of fifteen indictments and seven arrests were made on October 19th of this year. Firearms, money, and a large amount of methamphetamine was taken from the individuals.

According to a press release, this criminal organization was responsible for multiple pounds of methamphetamine that was being distributed across eleven counties within the Concho Valley.

Mathew Richard Martinez, 29, of San Angelo, Miguel Antonio Alfaro, 22, of San Angelo, Devin Wayne Dale, 33, of Junction, TX, Jonathan Rex Phillippi, 36, of Eden, TX, John David Gonzales, 29, of Brady, TX, Britney Leann Crower, 35, of Brady, TX, and Ashley Latreece Thackerson, 33, of Baird, TX were booked into the Tom Green County Jail until October 20th, when they appeared before a Federal Magistrate.
