Horry County police take over investigation after person reported shot in MB

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The Myrtle Beach Police Dept. is investigating after receiving a report of a person who was shot just before 3 p.m. Thursday, according to the department.

Police said that the person is being treated.

The investigation later determined the shooting happened in the Racepath area of Horry County outside the city limits of Myrtle Beach.

Police responded to the area of Pine Drive.
