The Orange County Sheriff's Office has confirmed the investigation surrounding Miya Marcano's murder is ongoing. "There is an ongoing criminal investigation into whether there was additional criminal activity which occurred after the murder of Miya Marcano," the sheriff's office told WESH 2 on Thursday. It is unclear what criminal activity officials suspect may have taken place.
