HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania (WGAL) — A York man has been sentenced to 15 months in prison for stealing $105,875 worth of postage stamps, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced Tuesday.

Elieze Guilamo, 20, pleaded guilty to conspiring with others to purchase the stamps.

Authorities said Guilamo admitted to purchasing the stamps with personal checks, knowing his bank account had insufficient funds.

As part of his plea agreement, Guilamo agreed to pay restitution to the U.S. Postal Service.

Authorities said Guilamo’s codefendants were previously sentenced. Steven Williams was ordered to serve 30 months and Arthur Gibson was sentenced to 18 months.
