HARTFORD, CT — A running vehicle was reported stolen from the driveway of a Hartford home Wednesday night, prompting police to warn residents to be more vigilant.

Where the vehicle was parked when it was stolen was not disclosed, but it was later recovered in not great condition.

"The vehicle was only recovered after it crashed into several other vehicles," Hartford police wrote on Twitter (see below). "Please lock your doors and take your fob/keys."
