UK suspends activities for all new fraternity members in wake of student’s death
Activities for all new fraternity members have been suspended at the University of Kentucky in the wake of a student's death this week.
Freshman Thomas "Lofton" Hazelwood died Monday evening after he was found unresponsive at the Farmhouse Fraternity, where he was a new member.
The coroner believes the 18-year-old likely died from alcohol toxicity.
There are currently two investigations happening into his death.

In the meantime, WKYT says the university is halting fraternity activities. It will also require new training for all fraternities on campus, focusing on hazing prevention, bystander intervention and university expectations.
