Police: Man facing charges after throwing pumpkins at woman for parking in front of his Bloomfield home
A man is facing charges after throwing pumpkins at a woman for parking in front of his home in Pittsburgh's Bloomfield neighborhood, according to police.
Police said James Gazis admitted to throwing the pumpkins.
According to a criminal complaint, Gazis told police that he heard his wife yelling about a car being parked in front of their house, and claimed it almost hit her and her son.
Police said Gazis walked outside and threw a pumpkin at the victim's car, hitting near the windshield.
He then threw a second pumpkin that went through the driver's side window, hitting the victim in the head, according to police.
After reviewing surveillance video, police said it did not appear that Gazis' wife or child were ever in danger of being hit by the victim's car.
Gazis was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and propulsion of missiles.
