CLEVELAND β€” The first Christmas Ale of the season will be poured at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday in Cleveland.

Great Lakes Brewery opened its downtown brewpup early, allowing festive guests to rush in and get their first taste of holiday flavors (mostly cinnamon, ginger, some honey). Carolers greeted attendees, singing songs for 60 minutes, before the first Christmas Ale keg will be delivered (at 11 a.m.).

The first pour from the keg will happen at 11:30 a.m., Great Lakes Brewery said.
