Greensboro woman at center of Silver Alert issued Thursday
The Greensboro Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing 75-year-old woman.Police say Annie Lucille Edwards was last seen driving a 2006 white Ford Taurus, with North Carolina license plate BLA-5306.Edwards is described as a Black female, 5’5 tall, weighing 155 pounds. A description of her clothing has not been made available. Edwards is believed to be suffering from dementia or other cognitive impairments, police say.State officials say Edwards may be headed to Smith High School in Greensboro."Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000. Citizens can also download the mobile P3tips app for Apple or Android phones to submit a mobile tip, or go to P3tips.com to submit a web tip. All tips to Crime Stoppers are completely anonymous," a news release said.
