TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The opening of the Larry Bird museum is expected to be delayed by at least 60 days.
Capital Improvement Board President Jon Marvel said that there is a delay in collecting and categorizing certain memorabilia, and that this is not due to any construction issues.
The museum was planned to be complete in early March 2022 with the completion of the Terre Haute Convention Center.
Construction of the Terre Haute Convention Center is expected to be complete on March 1st, 2022.
