Note: Information originally provided by the Monroe County Department of Public Health about the timeframe of this exposure was incorrect. It happened between Oct. 16 and 17, and the story has been updated to reflect that.

Anyone who was present at a late-night event at Minq Lounge in Rochester last weekend may have been exposed to COVID-19, according to the Monroe County Department of Public Health.

Health officials are alerting anyone who attended the "All Black Attire” event held late Saturday and early Sunday, Oct. 16 and 17, at the club, 398 W. Main St., that they may have been exposed to the virus. At least one person who was there between midnight and 2 a.m. later tested positive for COVID-19. Health officials say that patrons at the lounge may have come into close contact with that individual.

Attendees experiencing COVID-like symptoms, regardless of vaccination status, and all unvaccinated attendees should self-quarantine and call the health department at (585) 753-5555.

Any attendees who are fully vaccinated and not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms should get tested for COVID-19 and wear a mask in public indoor settings through at least Tuesday, Oct. 26.
