Volunteer opportunities ahead at the Montgomery Zoo

On Saturday, volunteers are needed for the Conservation Carwash and Tailgate Party. There are more chances to volunteer this fall

Staff reports
A variety of Christmas lights will be on display at the Montgomery Zoo, and volunteers are needed to help get them ready.

The Montgomery Zoo has a lot of fun, different, and exciting volunteer opportunities on the horizon, including a new conservation event on Saturday, a volunteer service day, prepping for the holidays, and the annual Christmas Lights Festival.

Volunteers at the Montgomery Zoo play a vital role in the success of the zoo.  Some volunteers interact with the zoo visitors while others may work behind the scenes.

This is a great way for groups, clubs, businesses, and students to earn volunteer/community service hours.

All volunteers must register prior to arriving. Register online at montgomeryzoo.com/education/volunteer-opportunities
