A full day of blues on two stages is on tap Saturday, Nov. 13, with the return of the New Blues Festival at Shoreline Aquatic Park.

Touted as the last blues festival of the year, this will be the eighth of the New Blues event produced by the Long Beach Blues Society. Tickets went on sale last week.

Recording artist Tito Jackson is the headliner. An original member of the Jackson 5, Tito is the third child in the Jackson family. After a long career with the family as a performer and producer, Tito Jackson launched his solo career in 2003. In 2016, he made it to the Billboard charts with the single “Get It Baby.” He has released two albums — “Tito Time” and “Love One Another.”

Other groups scheduled to perform are Sugar Ray Rayford, Laurie Morvan, Lester Lands’ Gospel Brunch, Redd House, Corday, The Disciplez, She Wears Black, Dano Forte and TJ Norton.

Also, producer and Long Beach Blues Society leader Bill Grisolia has formed a group called The New Blues Festival All-Stars. That group also will help headline the festival.

“This is the eighth New Blues Festival, the sixth in Long Beach and the first time the New Blues Festival will be held in the prime entertainment destination of Shoreline Park,” Grisolia said in a release. “(The park) is a peninsula of land surrounded by three sides with water.”

Music is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. and run all day. General admission tickets are $50; Gold tickets are $100 and includes assigned stage front seating, waitress and bottle service, preferred parking and discounts at the vendor village. A VIP ticket for $150 adds access to the backstage area, artist meet-and-greets, catered food and a VIP lounge with a happy hour.

Tickets and more information are at newbluesfestival.com or (707) 57-BLUES (25837).
