Court Street Lobster Bar in downtown Cincinnati announced it will be closing at the end of this month.

In a Facebook post, the restaurant said it will close its doors at 9 p.m. Oct. 29. The post said the restaurant's lease is up, and though it explored other options - which included looking for larger locations - "we had to take a realistic look at the current climate of the restaurant industry and determined that our business model was no longer viable."

The post addressed rising food costs and labor shortage.

"Seafood prices continue to rise and we refused to lower our quality of product. Supply chain difficulties and shipping costs have been continuous issues and are only projected to get worse. Utilities and operational costs are also rising. Further, while the employees we have are awesome, rounding out our staff to operate at full strength has been a nightmare with the labor shortage and people leaving the industry."

"... It has been a pleasure serving all of you. Join us over the next two weeks to grab a lobster roll and say goodbye to a truly great restaurant."
